Kind regards and congratulations again on the amazing baskets you deliver us, it is a delight each week to take out all the vegetables and admire them (and then cook and eat them of course!). - Cherryl
Just 45 minutes away from the hectic city centre of Nairobi, in the village of Ngecha, you will find Mlango Farm. A perfect place to come to rest and enjoy the peaceful rural environment. At Mlango you find a combination of the warm African atmosphere with Dutch "gezelligheid" (coziness).
The fertile but neglected family land of Mlango Farm has since 2007 been cleared and planted with fruit trees and vegetables. Over the years the farm has turned into a beautiful place full of life and healthy food. All our produce is sold in Nairobi. Book for an appointment and come take a walk around the farm, see how we grow our vegetables and just enjoy the outside life. Bring good walking shoes, and in the rainy season it can be muddy!
Children also amuse themselves plenty at the farm and enjoy the space, freedom and nature. Climbing trees, feeding the animals, playing hide and seek, birdwatching, learning about agriculture, baking bread at the campfire and so on.
Want to learn about permaculture and start farming yourself? Even at a small kitchengarden you can grow your own vegetables! Follow us on social media to see updates about the trainings given here at Mlango Farm.
Karibu sana!
