About our daytrips:
We organize daytrips for groups of families and friends. If you already have a date in mind, please let us know asap, so we can reserve a spot for you.
We ask for a contribution of 3,000 Ksh per person. Children of 11 years old and below = 1,500 Ksh, children of 2 years old and below = free. A day-visit includes drinks, a guided walk on the farm and lunch in our garden.
Guests are welcomed at 11 am, after coffee and tea we join you for a walk on the farm. If you like, during the guided tour on the farm our host will harvest a basket of vegetables together with you. This is Ksh 1,000 per basket. The baskets are provided here at the farm.
After the farm tour a lovely lunch is served in our garden, all with fresh ingredients from the farm. The lunch is also suitable for vegetarians and vegans. In honor of the late Kamande Njenga (founder of Mlango Farm), we are consciously alcohol free.
Inside the farmhouse you are welcome to view our art on sale, with paintings from artists from our village Ngecha, among many other pieces. You may also find residing artists working and exhibiting at Mlango Farm through our ‘Artists in Residence’ program.
For educational programs for schools: please visit the website of the Mlango Farm Foundation.
Sometimes we are fully booked, or not at home to welcome you. So please make sure to book an appointment before coming to the farm.
