FARM VISITS

Mlango Farm is famously known for family daytrips, team building days (see below), accommodation and school visits. We welcome visitors to our home on appointment only.

Mlango Farm is a great destination for a refreshing and educational day out of Nairobi for both adults and children. Come to learn about organic regenerative agriculture, learn where your food comes from, pet our animals and just enjoy a day out in nature.

We organize permaculture courses and every last Friday of the month we hold a cooking class with a guest chef. Please see here our events calender 2026.

Once we confirm your date of reservation, we will send you a confirmation and we will ask you for a down payment of 50% of the costs.

Daytrips

We organize daytrips for groups of families and friends. If you have a date in mind, please let us know asap, so we can reserve a spot for you.

We ask for a contribution of 3,500 Ksh per person. Children of 11 years old and below = 1,750 Ksh, children of 2 years old and below = free. A day-visit includes refreshments, a guided walk on the farm, a 3-course lunch in our garden and children activities.

Guests are welcomed at 11 am, after coffee and tea we join you for a walk on the farm. If you like, during the guided tour on the farm our host will harvest a basket of vegetables together with you. This is Ksh 1,000 per basket. The baskets are provided here at the farm.

After the farm tour a lovely lunch is served in our garden, all with fresh ingredients from the farm. The lunch is also suitable for vegetarians and vegans. In honour of the late Kamande Njenga (founder of Mlango Farm), we are consciously alcohol free.

Inside the farmhouse you are welcome to view our art on sale, with paintings from artists from Ngecha (village of artists), among many other pieces. You may also find a residing artist working and exhibiting at Mlango Farm through our ‘Artists in Residence’ program.
