Mlango Farm is run by Kamande & Els, a Kenyan-Dutch couple. They started Mlango Farm in 2007 from a neglected farmland. Kamande's broad business experience, sense of hospitality, his knowledge of Kenya and its people together with Els' work experience in international diplomatic, environmental and educational institutions proved a good base to start a farm together. Over the years they have built up a beautiful organic farm with over 50 different crops. The passion and love for the project can be seen and felt when guests are visiting Mlango Farm.

Many visitors love to spend
some time at Mlango Farm, walk with our hosts for a tour on the farm, enjoy the
green environment, learn about farm life and harvest their own vegetables.
Children enjoy feeding and petting the animals. Our (mostly vegetarian) lunch
is another highlight of the day!
At Mlango Farm we refuse, reduce, recycle and re-use waste as much as we can. We make and collect Ecobricks (building blocks made of plastic waste) to reduce the amount of plastic waste in our environment. Soon we will build a cottage made of ecobricks and cob. We will be happy to tell you more about it!
Mlango Farm supports the Mlango Farm Foundation, an organization that offers school visits and educational programs on the farm.
Sometimes we are fully booked or not at home to welcome you, so please make sure to book an appointment before coming to the farm.
